Story

Became king at 25, following the wicked reign of his father Ahaz.

Opened the temple, purified it, and restored sacrifices and worship.

When Sennacherib threatened Jerusalem, Hezekiah prayed in the temple and sought Isaiah’s counsel.

God miraculously delivered Jerusalem by striking down the Assyrian army.

After his illness, God gave him a miraculous sign: the shadow moved backward.

His later pride in showing his wealth to Babylon led to a prophecy of future judgment.
