Satan

The Accuser

Name Information

Satan is the chief adversary of God — a created angel who rebelled and became the deceiver of the whole world. From the serpent in Eden to the dragon of Revelation, he opposes God, His people, His angels, and all creation. Throughout Scripture, he is portrayed as tempter, accuser, deceiver, and destroyer, yet his power is always subject to God’s authority. His end is certain: eternal judgment in the lake of fire.
