Exodus

📜 Old Testament

🗺️ Overview

After Joseph’s family came to Egypt to survive a famine, generations passed and the Israelites grew numerous. Eventually, they were enslaved by a new Pharaoh who saw them as a threat. Exodus tells the story of their deliverance from bondage, the giving of the law at Sinai, and the formation of God’s covenant people. It reveals God’s power to save, His presence with His people, and His holiness in relationship and worship.

💡 Exodus shows that God delivers, dwells with, and directs His people. It challenges us to trust in His saving power, obey His Word, and worship Him as holy.
